The Mike Greene Great Guy Foundation was founded by nine Babylon Village residents and friends of Mike.  The foundation continues to be run by some of the original founders, as well as new board and committee members who are dedicated to the foundation's mission.

Current Board Members

Kevin Going, President and Founding  Board Member

 Kevin is the President of the Mike Greene Great Guy Foundation and one of its founding members.  He is also the host of many of our events.  Kevin is the owner of Going Sign.  He and his wife live in Babylon with their three daughters.

John Fredericks, Vice President and Founding Board Member

John is the Vice President of the foundation and one of the founding members.  He and his wife Laurie live in Babylon with their two children.

Maria Ricciardi,Secretary and  Founding Board Member

Maria is the Secretary and a Founding Member of the Foundation.  Maria is a retired Nurse's Aide at the Babylon Memorial Grade School. Maria and her husband Joe have lived in Babylon for 28 years and have two sons.
ANGELA CAMPAGNA, TREASURER AND BOARD MEMBER

Angela joined the board and became Treasurer in 2017.  She lives in Babylon with her husband Michael and son.

Liz Greene, Board Member

Liz is the widow of Mike Greene, in whose name this foundation was founded.  Liz and her four children live in Babylon.

Floyd levy, Board Member

Floyd is the least liked member of the board. Although he tries to be helpful, the rest of the board simply tolerates him.  He has a propensity for donating his so-called musical talents to various events and such, to the great annoyance of the rest of the team.  Floyd lives in Babylon with his wife Amy, their three children, and their dog Rudy.  They all find it difficult to tolerate him as well.

Karen McGetrick, Board Member

Karen has been a member of the Great Guy Foundation Board since 2013.  Karen is a Freelance Executive Producer of Corporate Events working with various production companies and corporate clients on different projects throughout her career.  Karen and her husband Jim have four children and have lived in Babylon since 1995.

Matt polletta, Board Member

Matt has been a member of the Great Guy Foundation Board since 2018.  Matt is SVP of Sales at Concerto HealthAI.  Matt and his wife have two children and live in Babylon.

Cathy Rende, Founding Board Member

Cathy is the mother of four children, and lives in Babylon with her husband Ken.

Doug Chapey, Founding Board Member

Doug is the owner of Chapey and Sons Funeral Homes.  Doug and his wife Barbara live in Babylon with their three sons.

Cathy Conlon, Founding Board Member

Cathy is a Founding member of the Foundation and was an active board member through 2018. She was responsible for building, monitoring and maintaining the Foundation website and for design and communication of Foundation event flyers and messages. Cathy is Vice President, Strategic Development at Broadridge Financial Solutions.  She has lived in Babylon for 20 years with her husband Kevin, and their three children.

Marianne Connolly, Founding Board Member and Past Treasurer

Marianne was the Treasurer and a Founding Member of the Foundation.  Marianne is the Office Manager at Applied Construction Services, Inc. Marianne and her husband Charlie have lived in Babylon for over 20 years and have two sons.

Nancy Dittmeier, Founding Board Member

Nancy is a Founding member of the Foundation and was an active board member through 2018.  Nancy is a teacher in the William Floyd School District.  A lifelong member of Babylon Village, she and her husband Harry have three children. 

Jean Hannon, Board Member

​Jean is a former treasurer of the foundation and was an active board member through 2019.  Jean is a Founding Partner at The Pivot Group, a Management Consultant Firm.  She has lived in Babylon since 2002 with her husband Brian and their four children.

Alan Howard, Board Member

Alan served as a board member of the Great Guy Foundation through 2019.  He is Vice President at Plessers Appliances.  Alan and his wife Courtney live in Babylon with their three children.

Bobbi Ross, Former Treasurer, Board Member
